My personal philosophy of customer service is: Make each customer feel welcome and important in our branch.  Smile and laugh with them so each visit is enjoyable.  Give each customer your undivided attention, so they never leave feeling like an interuption to your day.

The most important part of customer service to me?  Listen to customers and co-workers with sincerity and follow through personally.  This builds trust and credibility, so people know they can count on you.

What's the most important quality in a good employee? One who willingly gives 110%, without expectation of reward.  A team player who consistently makes sound deciisons, keeping in mind both the company and the customer's best interest.  A dependable and consistent work ethic, backed by a positive attitude.

What, to you, makes banking at Farmers different than banking elsewhere?  Farmers employees build relationships with customers, by delivering personalized service and solutions long after the account is opened.    All bank products are similar.  The service behind Farmers' products, makes us different.

I feel best about my job when I'm actually able to help a customer. Whether it's being able to make them a loan or finding the right fit on a deposit account. It has to work for them, and when it does they'll come back.

Customers of a locally owned bank are sometimes our neighbors and friends. The biggest challenge is to make ALL your customers feel like your neighbors and friends. You are able to identify their needs and show interest and concern when it's needed.

What's the most important quality in a good employee? Loyalty.

What, to you, makes banking at Farmers different than banking elsewhere? For me, being locally owned enables me to ask for assistance when a customer comes to me for a loan that might not conform to loan policy; although overall it would be a good loan. I have a chance to discuss it with someone and offer the customer alternatives. It's not always a yes or no answer. Customers appreciate that and know I tried to go the extra mile.
